Got together with Frank today to check out some new sites I had found.

Not much in the finds dept. but got an 1899 IH, 1910 Wheatie & a unreadable Wheatie.

Avoided 2 Yellow Jacket nests. One Frank & I had passed over with out disturbing but when I had gone back I had kicked up some leaves & sticks while I was walking. On the other side of the hole I heard some buzzing & saw that they were swarming over the area I had been, so I was pretty lucky.

HH!

its that time of the year , very hot humid days and chilly nights give them a nasty temper that are easily proviked. Roger i found that out last saturday. nice finds Roger but more importantly congrats on coming home unscathed by them insects .

Thanks Guys. This is a nice site but man you had to work hard for targets. Even with the rain we got Sat the moisture only was about 1/4" deep.

Weird the wheat is toast but the soil isn't that wet. Musta been a fairly big house to have that support in the middle of the basement.

I got that Wheatie at another site. That was the support for the center chimney.
