Found these little cuties at an 1880s home in a neighboring town a week or two back. A random door knock as well and man they have really been paying off too. The coins are 1881 and 1906 Indians. Their patinas differ very distinctly. Both were found in different parts of the yard. I may have nipped the 1881 on the face with my digger......Although the patina is inside of the scratch so maybe it was that way for a long time before seeing the light of day for the first time in decades. :dontknow:

The IHs are great Ricky! Love'em! :thumbsup02:
But the dog TAX is my favorite!! I love finding those. Not the vaccination ones, or the rabies ones, or the dog TAG ones. But the ones that say TAX on them, I love findin' !
Congrats on that baby!!
Thats a cool one too! I found one last night at my demo site. Not as unique as yours, or as old as yours. But it was my favorite find of the night.

Very nice Timmy. Maybe we can get in a hunt before the year is out. Those were some awesome finds. You are tearing it up at that place.

Great looking 1906 IH and the scratch on the 1881 I believe is an old one. Great recovery on the dog tax tag.

Love that 1931 Dog Tax tag! :loveit:

Two very nice Indian Heads too. They both have little wear and great detail.

Great finds, Ricky! :clapping:

Agree that the dog tax tag is a nice find. Have one similar from 1945 I found a few weeks back. Closeup of the scarred IH is interesting...the mark looks like a digging tool!
