I went back to the grove again today for a quick hunt while there was a break in the rain showers. I worked a small trashy area with the 6 inch coil and it did not disapoint again. The 1899 Barber dime was my first find within the first 5 minutes. It had two nails in the hole with it. The next couple hours produced 4 wheats one was a 16-S, which was a date I needed for my book. The last dig of the day was the Merc an 18-D. It also had iron in the hole a rusted bottle cap.

Great condition on those coins. Have been looking at picking up a small coil. Will probably put it on my list this winter. WD
