last week i had a one day window of opportunity to get in the muck.of course I jumped in.
$3.00 in clad,a 10 kt gold hoop earring,a small 925 hoop earring.nothing compared to 3 years ago when i pulled 99 silver coins.$101 bucks in clad, and quite a bit of gold & silver jewelry but i saved a few pieces this round

Not as good as 3 years ago but you still got some silver and GOLD. That was quite a haul 3 years ago. Without prying to much this must have been a swimming hole?
Good for you on taking advantage of the small window of opportunity.

Sounds like it was a "swimming and losing area" Good job on rescuing the goodies.

Nothing like a good stroll in the muck. Each step is worth five. You saved some goodies though.

Whoa, that's a sick pile of goodies. Were you doing cellar holes back then Dave, or was that one of those events where (like you said) it's tough to go back to clad, and started moving up?

They drained Rainbow Resevoir in Windsor a year or so ago to repair the old dam. Anyone on the site try hitting it while it was down?

That's a desperate Cellar hole hunter out there in the mud. Kind of sad and funny at the same time.Totally worth it if there's a picture with you with mud all over you.
