How many people have found a steel Lincoln cent? I found this one in my yard in 2013 between my big tree and sidewalk, it was with a Buffalo Nickel and several copper wheat pennies. My brother found a Buffalo Nickel in the same spot 3 years ago. And this summer I found a second steel penny that had washed up after a big rain in the same spot. This spot is on a slight incline and the rain keeps eroding the soil and it keeps producing older coins. On this one you could barely make out Lincoln.

Here is the one I found this summer.

Usually they are just a lump of rust. I think I might have found one but couldn't confirm it.

Cool find, I've gotten a couple as part of a pocket spill, WTG.
