Beautiful Old Flat Button!

[Pennsylvania Treasures]

Was wondering around an old 1806 home site when I walked by a big rock and found this beauty at only 5 inches deep! Probably My best Flat Button Yet! No design on the front but big design on the back! Research says this one dates 1790-1810!

That is a real beauty! It's wonderful how the details are highlighted by the green patina. We just don't find old buttons like that here in Illinois.
