Got permission to a sick house site today in CT. It was a big corner lot late colonial house. Built in 1790. I was super excited to hit the yard. My first signal was a small cuff button then I got a high 80s signal, I was thinking Large cent or other piece of copper but it turned out to be a nice ben Franklin half dollar! My first Franklin and second half out of 81 silvers this year! got that on live dig too! I kinda wandered around the yard and got a memorial signal. I dug some clad nearby so Wasn't expecting anythimg good. When I popped out of the hole with my T handle I saw a round disk and the turned it over and WOW! i saw an insane gold guilt button looking at me! As big as a silver dollar with an incredible pattern! Easily my favorite civilian button! :happydance01:I dug a iron buckle nearby.

Lots of trash and clad was to be found and then got a nice deep mid tone. Ended up being a beautiful plated spoon piece. Got another mid tone wandering the yard and found this big thing with a nice design on it. Looks like it was two pieces seamed together and its hollow. Pretty heavy too. Brass. If anyone can help I would appreciate it highly. I also got a nail made into a hook.

heres somepics! Thanks for looking guys!!! HH! :) :) :)

Great job Issac. That button is really cool. I'm a coin shooter so my favorite is the Franklin Half. We don't see to many of them posted. :congrats:

Very nice Isaac! Not surprising I've never found a Franklin, but Tony??!! :shocked05::lol:
I remember commonly seeing Franklins in pocket change....I wonder why we don't find more of them. That is one fine button too!

I know in the east it is far more common to find a Walker than a Franklin. Nice find.
