Hi, newbie here. Not much to tell. I once mentioned to my wife, just in passing, that I thought it'd be fun to run a metal detector around our back yard. Our home was built around 1873 and has had a grassy yard for a very, very long time. No telling what may be back there. Christmas came and so did a detector.

I have much to learn, and will start by making my second post in the Bounty Hunter section.

Cheers!

Welcome from Washington state; Love your username, it sure feels that way some times. But you've got some history there and I bet it won't be long before you find something that will be the "hook" for a life-long hobby. Better keep that wife around too, I'd say!

Welcome from western MA. SE Michigan, I lived in Dearborn back in the early 60's. Remember, no matter how good a detector is, it can't find anything if its in a closet....
