View Full Version : Great Hunt at New Park Silver & More! Now with a Video

Hockeyguy & I headed out to the new park we went to on Friday.
We hit the area I started on Friday and found quite a bit considering the area we was working is only about 60x60 yards, a significantly small area compared to the entire park. So, I am hoping there will be plenty of goodies to come in future hunts there..

So my finds for the day was....
3-4 wheaties
1926 Buffalo nickle
1918,1927,1943,1936 Mercury dimes
1914 Barber dime
1943 Washington Quarter
St Jude Silver medallion
and 4 other non-precious metal medallions

A great hunt in my book.. Hockeyguy had a great hunt as well, but I will leave it up to him to post is finds.

Holy cow! I figured Angel would be the guy to upstage my good weekend, but you beat him to it! lol Great digs for sure. That would be the hunt of a lifetime for me. Congrats!

That is definitely one great hunt, Scott. :drool: Some sweet finds you have there. You need to hit that park as if it were the last place on earth holding silver. lol Congrats! thumbsup01

Nice silver count :shocked04: That '27 is in good shape too. I'd say that was a very sucessful hunt. I'd be ready to hit it again tomorrow lol

Great new video. Coins at fast food speed lol I like it thumbsup01 Love the post card idea. That stamp is from one of my favorite series of stamps. I have the whole series, actually I have it about 4 times lol Great hunt guys and I'm betting there will be a part II sometimes soon.
