I saw this too on the 15th. Someone left it leaning up against a tree to take a leak and forgot their gun.

Must be a fairly dry climate if the wood isn't completely rotted and the tree is slow growing. Interesting story.

Saw this last week on another site! It is awesome. Wish I could make a find like that. Even though it was on a state park and had to be turned in it would be nice to have discovered it. Just imagine if that rifle had been left in the 1800's what stories it may could tell if the darn rifle could talk!
