Oh joy! Woke up after a night shift to a nice sunny day. Checked the tide charts.....high tide.....oh crap! Well deep in the limited cortex an idea sparked....try a toboggan slope. Down the magazine Hill did Nogo go. Dodging pot holes that would engulf a Soviet T34!
Arrived at the field of dreams and slopes but in reality (not tv) arrived at the field of feces of the mobile manure maker kind!

Was interesting to see how each plop of doggie dew receded into the snow! Spring on the playing field will be a "Dodger " experience. As I walked towards were the kids slide I hit a soft spot and went knee deep in the snow receiving a nice pain up the leg and even through my made in a Chinese sweat shop spare knee. Oh crap.
Nice to be swinging the pro on the warm up for my trip this week to Punta Cana which will include 14 other souls including my daughter . Paid for her trip (her 1st anywhere) but not her boyfriend who is now instantly on my best bud list as Marie and I will not have to share a room with my daugher(sure she snors).....oh joy! No other digaholic amongst the 14.....on crap....ostracized again.
Loony first target....no challenge as I just looked in the snow and saw the loony down an inch ..... just for the halibut ran the coil over it to get that sweet sound.....oh joy! Another little hole in the snow...um.....glitter.....nitro....picked it up.....on crap.....a junker! On the bright side I now know that at least my heart still beats. On the way back to Nogo walked along the paved path that yielded two muddy coppers in the bare ground that was bracing a foot on either side of the path....oh joy!
Home.....not skunked.....sore and thinking ahead.....61 this year.....the calender must be wrong!

A shot of rum in glass with ice from the berg that sunk the Titanic.....and all was well. Oh joy!
