Terry deserves a big "atta boy" for hooking up this very large couple of old old farm fields and Dave also gets a big shout out for getting in touch with Whites metal detectors and supplying some great raffle prizes , it should be a fun and entertaining day with a lot of detectorists in such historic area , lot of "characters" will be there , hoping to meet some new faces .:)

I thought I saw something on the FB page about the yard that is not mentioned here. I was also wondering if there was some sponsoring seeing as the brands were put in the pic, but Dan took care of that explanation. It is possible to take that treck out there.

Idk why the gf keeps trying to plan stuff the night before. There was already something until 7p on May 2, but that is done early enough to still make in the Sun am to this. Since the Pacman fight that night too, she keeps trying to plan it. Idw people leaving my house at 3a and getting no sleep for a day of detecting. I'm gonna put my foot down and say no event that night. :lol:

I have been given permission to call out sick that day and Massdirtfisher and possibly RobW attending.
Can't wait to meet all the detectorists that have only been a name to me.

Plenty of good scores for sure. A couple Hibernias, half real, 2-cent piece, Kennedy half, seated dime, etc. Definitely not my best day. A measuring spoon, wheatie, shotgun shell brass bonanza, and struck out at the raffles. Still had a great time meeting lots of folks! Zzzzzzzzzz...
