After work I went back to where I found the 1854 quarter and half dollar last Sat. I only wanted to stay a short time but kept getting signals  so I may have been there over three hours...at least that's what my stomach said

I think the buckle is very old, it has an "SC" maker's mark.
1929 Dime
State of Vermont ring (no idea what for)
Local bar token
Delicate gold piece (I was like "what is this small piece of #$%@?...oh gold"
Rosary part- Mary on one side, Jesus on the other.
Canadian church medallion.
1958 wheat, and a dateless second one
1975 Canadian penny
Suspender clip
Anyone know what that bottle was for? It has some reddish stuff on the top.
As always, thanks for looking!

Great hunt Drew , I really like the buckle :smitten:it is an older "Stuart/Georgian" type shoe buckle 1690's to 1720 era but the makers initials on it will really pen it down better and probably tell you where (part of England) it came from. congrats you found another very old spot.

Dan's right... you can tell it's the earlier style of buckle because of the size and it only has one spike instead of two. Man I love that buckle :) Huge congrats

I had a feeling the buckle you found was a very early shoe buckle, but I waited until Dan replied just to make sure :lolsign:. Nice finds, the buckle is awesome

Is the state ring gold, or junk? If the latter I am thinking some sort of novelty ring from a gift shop in VT. Nice score with that old buckle.

Excellent finds Drew. Love the old buckle. By the way, what's the cross looking item to the right of the buckle? Old pin?

Thanks everyone! Jim, it's a plated ring. Looks like it's from the 20s or 30s. John, that cross is a very large suspender clip.
