Haven't posted for a couple of weeks so I rolled it into one post. Got a couple of nice permissions that resulted in my first Vermont landscape copper as well as some LC's, Indians and silver. Also hit a couple of old standby woods and a park and picked up 2 V Nickels and 2 shield nickels in the same day from the woods. The Barber dime and 1860 British farthing also came out of these woods. Went to a favorite park and although I only found one merc, I came up with a bunch of Indians and 2 1864 2 cent pieces (makes 5 so far this year). A lot of these finds are on peoples and feel fortunate to live in an older area of the country where these things are possible. Yes, I do count my blessings. Finding 3 shield nickels and 2 - 2 cent pieces is quite rare and these are on many bucket lists.

Nice bunch of finds Don. A VT Landscape is high on my wish list :congrats: I haven't been able to get out for a couple of weeks, that VT copper you pulled might just be enough motivation for me to take a day off and get out in the woods myself.

Don you've been absolutely killing it this year especially on the 1860's coins. I can't imagine getting a two center every month! (that's the pace you're at now!) Congrats and always looking forward to more !

Super nice group of keepers....:thumbsup02:. Getting the 2 centers and shields at the rate you find them is fantastic. I have only managed (2) two centers in the seven years I've been detecting. The VT copper is great as is the tribe of IH's. You're having a very good year and thanks for posting.
