After finding my first silver coin, I couldn't wait to go back in that area and see if there were any more there so I spent about six hours searching but no luck. Did end up with about $4.50 in clad

And the usual amount of other stuff

But there is a lot more area here to cover so I haven't given up hope. Thanks for looking

Not being a smart-alec but make sure you check your dimes as I see the Merc has water blackening and there is a Rosie that looks the same. I pitched a Rosie once in a vinegar bath with some clad and found out it was silver when it did not clean up. You never know. Nice batch of gas money WD

You're much more organized than I am. My trash gets tossed as soon as I get home and the clad goes in a coffee can for later cleaning enough to go to the bank. Looks like a nice clad haul though.

That's a lot of pull tabs. Good job!

I recently read a post somewhere about silver coins coming up black so now I am going back through all my coins and checking them all but thanks for responding

With all those pull tabs, it's just a matter of time before you dig a gold ring. Good Luck

$4.50 is a nice haul. idk what it is but after the parks/greens/schools I been hunting (like the green yesterday was 16/1700s) I actually don't realize how much coinage comes up until afterward when I take it all out of the pocket.

Lol. I have had the opposite happen quite a few times. I've had times where I pulled two coins touching in the ground. Where they were touching looked like they were silver. Quite a bummer when I see the date, tho.

That's what happened with the Rosie in the picture. Multiple coins stacked together and shiny in the center. Still going to check all my other coins anyway
