I had a GREAT week last week! I found a silver Rosie and War Nik during my lunch break at a local park. I did an evening hunt last Wednesday and struggled for most of the time until I got to a city owned curb strip that gave up 3 quick mercs...that was fun!

Then on Saturday I went to an old town and hit a city owned parcel next to some old railroad tracks. I figured that the kids from the nearby homes would have played here for the past 100 years or so. Lots of trash but I did managed a 1964 Washington and a smooth 1918 D merc. I decided to move on and went to a park that has been hammered. I worked a very small strip that is on the very edge of the park figuring that maybe it has never been detected before. It is only about 15 ft wide and 40 ft long or so. First signal was a 12-47 about 3 inches deep and 3 inches from the cement curb. Thought it was a clad quarter but out popped a black disc...I knew it was a silver almost immediately. Then I saw Queen Victoria on it...YES! I took it to a nearby water fountain and gave it a rinse...1874 H!!! Isn't she pretty?! Also found the 1906 Indian here.
