Hunted a 1946 house yard, found 10 wheats, oldest is 1940. Found a 1910 Barber quarter. Was not expecting that.

Congrats, nice coin! It is entirely possible that coin was dropped by someone building the house. Your coin is not badly worn, but many of those super-smooth Barbers were the ones still circulating in the early 1950s.

That is an awesome find! It's a thrill to find any silver quarter, but when you see that it's a Barber it really puts a smile on your face! :thumbsup02:

Shocked to find a Washington that was at least 19 years old in my yard. Can't see why a 36 year old barber dropped isn't plausible. Nice score.
