Went out for a short Labor Day hunt and found a 46 Rosie, 6 wheats (oldest was 1944) and a couple Hot Wheel cars. Way too hot for this time of the year!49896

Yes indeed. I give you props for getting out none the less. I went to the beach instead of detecting

Good haul for a short hunt. Man, those Matchbox cars sure do sound sweet on the detector don't they? I hit an old home earlier in the summer and found 6! After car number 3 I refused to be fooled again until I saw a real relic in the dirt.

Congrats, two of us put in 8 hours each on Sunday and got a grand total of 3 wheats, 2 V nicks and a war nickel, so that Rosie looks really nice in our eyes!

Nice rosie, Mike. HEY!!!! Quit complaining of the heat. We can still dig. That last winter took too long to end and was a B to try and get out when it was melting.
