Met up with Dan at our usual place and time to head back to last week's site since it did so well. Forecast was for a wet, chilly, and windy morning.
I've fished plenty in the rain, and have been ice fishing in every condition, so I was prepared. Just had to toss some good Ziploc baggies over the head and box of my V3i.

No coins for me this week. 5 buttons and an interesting clip that Dan thinks may be off a type of sandal. It was a long weekend and I'm just getting caught up. Got my first dandy that has some fancy on it, and the large pewter button I dug looked plain until I took pics. It's got some hash marks around the edges.
Congrats to Dan on that copper spill! I wish I had been there for more than half the dig. ;)

Very nice Brian. The sandal clip thingy is certainly my favorite of your finds this time. Keep up the good work!

Even though you didn't find coins, you still got a nice cache of relics. Congrats!

very nice dandy button Brian , I pulled one just like it at that site but mine is in rough shape and the design is a bit hard to make out. the decorative "tab" looking piece is indeed a clog clasp , just google it and you'll see very similar examples from the late 1700's to early 1800's . 10 coins total between us in the last 2 trips , that is a pretty amazing ratio.

That's a lot of high targets....don't you just love the attention to detail those dandy button makers had? I'd hit that with a brass brush and call it good  Congrats!
