Back to the same old spot tonight all charged up by the incredible finds I have been seeing as of late on this forum and I was blown away by the first target of the night , a 10-FOIL-RING on the ID , yes , the mighty MXT ALL PRO was right .The ring was about 4" deep . I also dug up two clad pocket spills and lots of trash .Thanks for looking and H H .

Thanks Timmy ,

I used a stainless steel " drift pin " It's a long tapered rod used to align holes .I first pushed the ring on it as far as I could using hand strength and then when I got it on as far as I could , I then used a rubber handled tin snip as a hammer ( striking the ring with the rubber grip part) .Neither the ring or the snips get harmed .It's still a tiny bit out of round but not really very noticeable ( I figured it's better not perfect rather than taking a chance on messing it up .

Thanks for the kind words Digger .
That's the first time I ever got two pocket spills in dirt . I've done it at the beach a couple times .

That is a gorgeous ring. Does the "P" stand for pinpointer? great finds WD

Sweet ring! I have found that my first target of the hunt has been the best find on several hunts lately as well. Strange how that goes.

Thanks Bucknut , sweet it is .
Thanks Wisconsin Digger , I'm going to say the "P" stands for pretty .
Thanks Skamaniac , I enjoy those nice finds that come on the first or early part of the hunt , It's a nice feeling knowing that if something or someone puts a halt to your trip your already going home with something good .
Thanks Glen , It was a nice surprise .
Thanks Drew , it sure is .
Thanks Rebel , there's some marks but they are small . Too small for my magnifying glass and I've misplaced my loupe ( my man cave is showing some signs of being inhabited by a hoarder ) .If I get an ID I will post it . 1920's ,Hmmm .................that would be cool .

Thanks for looking and commenting and Happy Hunting to all .

Nice score on some gold. You did good enough with straightening. Altho it is good to find stuff right away, it's better to continually find good things throughout the hunt. Altho, when things start dropping off makes it easier to leave.
