This hunt was made in April while hunting with my Buddy OBN and thought I posted it over here but now realize I didn't. I thought some might like to hear the story behind it.

These three rings were found that day and I thought the ring on the left was junk...

...however, after cleaning it I noticed it was marked 14K and tested the same.

I don't ( and never have ) worn any jewelry but liked this old ring. I brought it to a jeweler to have it cleaned, sized, put a topaz in it and have an old script letter "A" put on it.

The following day I received a call from the jeweler telling me he had bad news, the ring was gold rolled and he couldn't do the things I wanted.

I really liked this old ring and decided to have it cast in 14K with the work described above. I gave the jeweler some gold rings to use for the project.

Three weeks later got a call saying the ring was finished. Above and below is my old resurrected ring. Hope you enjoy it as much as I.

Thanks for looking.

Dan, I felt the same way when I sent you the pictures below to ID for me. When you replied and told me it was a wax seal I said to myself, ":duh: I should have known that :embarrassed: "....sound familiar.

The wax seal was 14K and found in the H2o.
