I went out to a small township hall not far from home this evening. Not entirely certain how old the building is, but it has a very old playground and some picnic tables nearby, so I spent about an hour looking around before it got dark. 2 Quarters, and a penny was all the coins I found, but this horseshoe was interesting. It's definitely a used horseshoe, a little bit bent. How old one could only guess, but it was very deep, about 8 inches. The stupid penny was the first thing I found, I got all excited, I figured this had to a least be a wheatie, but no another dang modern penny. And more of these darned pull tabs!:)5172151722

Seems to be a pretty clean site, but likely quite old as the horse shoe would indicate. If those were all the pulltabs you found, it was a good day!

Go back and hit it again and bring the horseshoe along for luck .

Took me over 200 memorial pennies before I got my 1st wheat. Definitely hit that spot again.

Go slow and dig all the deep stuff and get that silver!

Yeah, there's likely silver there so go slow and steady. Pay special attention to any quiet deep targets, even ones that are choppy.
