Hi all. I had the opportunity to do a little hunting last weekend and pulled this small assortment of 1800s/early 20th century relics from the woods. Finds include two toasted IHs (no date & 1898), a dateless Q. Vicky Canadian dime (young head var. - probably pre-1890), small trade token (reads "Good for 50C in Trade"), a one piece cuff button and part of a nice Victorian era woman's flower bracelet. Also nabbed a few other random items. If anyone has an idea on the little red & white cap/pin with the bronco and rider on it please give me a shout. My guess on age is mid-20th century but honestly it's just a guess. Check out my video of these and other finds at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EBb9eoQRyg. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

John , I agree looks like most items are of the late 1800's era :thumbsup02: you have two items that i've never found yet a pre 1890's silver victoria coin and a "good for" token , both still on my wish list . congrats John :notworthy:

Nice finds and I also am looking for my 1st "good for" token. Going to take a stab at the red item. I think that it attached to a child's cap gun holster or maybe some chaps.

Some unusual finds there John. Love that bracelet thingy and the token.

Could that "bracelet" be a sweater clasp? Women would use them across the neck of a sweater.

The bronco could be a piece off of a toy pistol (like an emblem attached to the grip).
Just a wild guess.

Nice finds, John. All I'm finding so far this spring are old nails (though, did find a nice blacksmith-made square nail today).

Thanks David, and after doing a little research I believe you're correct! Either a sweater or perhaps a cloak clasp. Shoot me a PM when you have time. We should get together again this season.
