About 10 days ago I skipped out of work early and hit an old park from the 1800's. I was not expecting much because I had been detecting it really hard so far this year but was very happy to go home after 2 hours with 4 silvers.

Then a few days later I went to another old 1800's park and got an 1880 indian and an old tag of some sort. It reads "ABCDEFGHI
James Innis
Jas. Innis
Drumbo Ont."

Perhaps it is a name tag? I just googled his name and Drumbo and got a hit from Ancestry.com stating that this guy lived from 1848 to 1923....kinda cool!

The rest of my silvers came from a park that I have gone to 100 times over the last 5 years. Just been working the trashy areas and digging all mid to high tones and pulling some surprise silvers! These all came during my lunch break...I'd rather dig up silver than sit around and eat my lunch.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Nice digs. I like that tag. Looks like some kid got hold of a punch set and made is own name tag. Pretty cool find.

WTG on all the keepers. I hear that silver is better for the soul than any lunch.
