Hi all,
Had a short hunt the other day at the only park in my town that dates before 1988. It's been heavily modified and built up since it bagan in the 1900s such as having a library built in it and a community pool added taking up most of the open land. But i had hopes that if I worked edges, I might find something. I did manage a 1939 Merc among a bunch of deep nails, and an aluminum wrapper from Coltons Elastic with a 15c price. I only found 1 listing for that product at that price in a newspaper ad from 1908.

Nice job working the property! Is the writing on the other side of that metal piece?

The writing is embossed. If you look close you can see some of the raised letters/numbers. Really soft thin material, so nice that there's anything left. Of course the coloring is gone.

Wow, only one is older than '88? Grats on scoring some silver.
