June and July were dry and uncomfortably hot. The lawns turned to dust. Then came August and we got some much needed rain.Then we got more rain and then some more rain. It soon became unbearable with the heat and humidity. Some days it was difficult to breath in the humid air.
But not today! It is 69 degrees, clear blue sky and just a little breeze. I had to swap my shorts for a pair of jeans because I was getting chilled while out side with a morning cup of coffee. Weather man says we have a new record for daytime low temperature. As soon as I finish my chores around the house I will be out enjoying a nice cool day while swinging the coil.
This Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood won't last long. Thursday is opening day at the New York State Fair and it will be back to the normal hot and humid August weather.
Fall is just around the corner. YEA!:happy::happy::happy::happy:
