View Full Version : Military US Collar Button? How old? No makers mark on back

Found this button in a field yesterday. It has green patina on it so I think it is at least WW2. Any ideas? Thought it was a large cent. It was on edge. Was using my F75LTD2 with the NEL tornado coil. EMI was high> Had the detector set on BP mode and sens on 0? Yes 0. hit this as 7 inches. Little bigger than a Quarter.

WWI era! Most had single screw post on back. Good find. HH, Dave.

It does have a single screw back. The screw still has the holder on it minus some back part.
