Hi all,
Another morning at the beach and in the water gave up a few finds after a big storm rolled through 2 days ago which really changed the beach. I worked mostly the surf area where the waves washed out lots of sand and left piles of gravel instead. This strategy worked well as I had the most total rings and jewelry finds for one morning to date. Also found the biggest set of keys to date as well.

Wow Chris! 4 rings in one day! Sweet!

Actually very little trash! This beach gets hit hard, usually daily. I've seen as many as 5 or 6 others detecting here at once, so the trash is kept to a minimum. Unfortunately so are the good targets. :detecting:
The good is that I have the best machine for the job, and got it dialed in nearly perfect for the conditions, so get a lot from areas others already hit. I also use my 17 inch coil for better depth, way beyond what the others can get, and i also can cover a lot of area really quickly.

must be nice the beach I've been going to i think i am the only one metal detecting it and i am having to pick foil and tabs. but i keep looking on the bright side of it there are rings to be found and chains i found a nice silver necklace last time out.

Getting the deep signals is great, but I also get more deep pull tabs too. As they were being phased out by 1974, that gives an idea how long they have been buried in the sand. That also gives an idea of how old a few of the rings I find are.
The surface trash I get are the stay tab levers, usually concentrated near trash cans where people don't quite make the hole, and near the volleyball nets where the beer swilling mostly occurs.

Excellent job and great looking Ring.
Sounds like you have that beach hunting down to a science :clapping:

Nope, sorry. Silver ring means they are only CZ.
