I was invited by my friend Tom "Hiluxyota" to meet him at his river of dreams today. We hunted for a few hours and I struggled with the ATPro. After swinging the e-trac for so long, I was lost using the Pro.

But, I did manage a nice 14K gold ring and 3 wheats. I also found a turn of the century denture with 2 gold teeth. It was very strange when I pulled it out of the scoop. Teeth staring up at me. LOL
Everything found at this site has been pre 1920s.

If you enjoy river hunting, check out Hiluxyota on You Tube. He's been pulling gold like I pull memorials!! Seriously!!!

WOW, Don! That's a huge chunk of gold! ...and the teeth are a neat conversation piece! How deep was the water you were in?

The ring, about 12 inches.
The teeth, about 20 inches
The area was much deeper in the early 1900s

That's a old ring too. You can tell by the way the karat mark is. Thats a older style stamp. I found a 18K ring stamped like yours. Nemours people on the forums told me it was a older style stamp. I then had that verified by a reputable jeweler.
Sweet find!

I bet you're glad you didn't go out with me and find memorials LOL. I'm glad to see you had a great time. Very jealous!

I have been watching those videos and have been very impressed with the finds. Congrats to you and the two gold finds. Finding the teeth must have been a little creepy. If you display your finds watch the reaction from people who see them..

Gold is good

I bet when that denture plate was made they did not call them a grille.

Nice grille! I once found a gold tooth on a beach in Florida as a kid. I think my mom threw it out though years later when she cleaned up my closet.
