I hope this isn't too late in the year for this. These are some of the finds we got from our local beach after 2 to 4 feet of sand was washed out. This story is also coming out in the October or November issue of western eastern Treasure magazine that I sometimes write for. I hope I don't get in trouble for pluggin that magazine. I won't do it again I promise.lol Thats a 200 year old( I was told) ship spike found in pieces, days apart.. an 1893 or 98 V nickel...1964 silver Washington found in washed out sand from under tree roots, a 1947 silver Wasington found in a tree stump exposed after sand washed out...a 1949 wheat and Black Hills Gold ring found in the same hole..View attachment 55430

Wow that beach is really washed out! Lots of potential there! That spike is pretty cool and the silver is always nice to see!
