Hi all,
Back to the zoo this morning after work for a couple hours. I broke out the 17 inch coil looking for some of those deeper coins hoping for silver. After a couple hours I barely even found clad, though I did come up with a pin firm the 1964 winter olympics from Innsbrook, Austria. Still a cool and rare find!

I switched back to the 11 inch coil to work some more trashy areas which got me a few clad. As I was headed back to the car I decided to take a few final swings over the island strip in the parking lot and got a 12-38 at 5 inched. I was expecting the usual toasty zincoln when instead I realized I had a toasty 1908 IH! Here it is after extensive cleaning:

I only had a little time left, but on that same island strip I also pulled 4 wheaties-1946, 1928, 1919 S, and 1916. I'm happy with those, but still wondering why this place is generally lacking in any silver.

Way to go! I remember the Innsbruck Olympics in 1976...I was wondering why they held them there twice, and only a few years apart. I just read that Denver was the host city but withdrew with only four years to go, so they gave them to Innsbruck again. Congrats on the IH too!

Good job on those finds. For some reason 1908 Indian Heads aren't found very often. Be sure to always check them for a mint mark. :thumbsup01:

Nice pin and IH. Umm.. I know nothing about those Olympics nor that there were held in the same location. I'm doing my best to make someone feel old.
