Got out and hunted a elementary and a high school this weekend . Both had some wheats to be found http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif . Best being a 1920S http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_thumright.gif . Other dates were 1942S , 1944S and 1958D . Also found a 1958 nickel . Best find was a sweet silver Irish Claddagh ring http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/hello2.gif . Found two other rings both were kids junkers http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing7.gif . Total clad for 6 hours of hunting was $13.00 http://tnet.forumfoundry.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Nice score on the ring and old wheats! Lots of targets judging from the clad count.

Nice rings. You like the wheats? I only like them if nothing else significant gets dug. I was looking thru mine and I couldn't believe I had five 1919 wheats. Idk why it was so common for those early years.

I've noticed that myself around home that most of my old wheats are 1919
