This week has been a fun one detecting in shallow water, staying cool and picking up some good finds.

With today's hunt, the total silver coins I have pulled from the one lake this week stands at 99, and the gold ring total is 12.

This morning's hunt yielded me another 12 silver coins, two gold rings, and several other nice keepers.

This is my first Barber half from the lake. It's dated 1915-D. The other eleven half dollars I found there this week are Walking Liberty.

The eleven silver dimes are dated 1899, 1919, 1920 1926, 1941, 1941, 1942, 1944, 1945, 1946, and 1951.

The heavy wedding band is 14kt. The high school ring is from 1959 - 10k.

The silver rings I picked up. The band is marked 'nickel/silver'.

A nice crucifix and sterling silver pendant attached together.

What a great week you had at that lake :shocked04: I hate to say it but you may have been spoiled there. It will be tough going back to parks and real dirt ;) I think your half dollar count will drop down :crying02: I still love the way the Buffalo nickels rainbow in color. I guess I'm so used to seeing the corroded ones from the dirt, that these water finds look spectacular. I hope the air doesn't fade the colors out. Sweet hunt and congrats on a 100 silver coins in a week. :clapping: :clapping: Ahh what the heck...you get one of these too :cheering:

  Those pom poms sure have been getting a workout lately.

Yeah, I will miss shallow water detecting once it gets too cold to wade in, but at least it will be comfortable to detect at the parks by then.

I do think the color on the nickels will remain. I have yet to put them in 2X2s, but I will be doing that soon.

That is a crusty but beautiful barber half :) The gold rings are fantastic!! :cheering:

Some really interesting things there. Don't kill me, but you need to pull that charm bracelet (I think that's what it is) out of your junk pile where I'm sure it is currently residing... the one with the cowboy theme, and make sure it isn't collectible.

Probably the best results I have ever seen from a week of hunting! :thumbsup01:
You could actually make a decent living if you could do that every week.

:thinkingabout:Now I have a water detector to add to the wish list.
