It was very cold and windy yesterday, but me and Digger Don made the best of it anyway. Don drove down to my neck of the woods and we detected pretty much all day. Most of these finds came from door-knocking permissions.

It was great to meet up with Don for a hunt! We both found some good keepers, and Don even bought me a nice pizza dinner. thanks a million, Don!

Well done Tony! I know you and Don had a great time despite the cold weather. Looks like all 3 of your silvers are nice early drops. Congrats on that superb example of a SLQ! Is it a Philadelphia mint? Is this the best one you have found? It is certainly WAY better than the few I have found. Thanks for sharing with us and HH, Dave.

Congrats on that superb example of a SLQ! Is it a Philadelphia mint? Is this the best one you have found?

Thanks, Dave!

Yes, it is a Philadelphia minted coin. At first I thought it looked like a 1917/18 overdate, but those were only with an "S" mint mark.

It is definitely the nicest SLQ I have found.

Wow. Grats on a SLQ like that and the Barbers are quite nice. Nice to know that we up here in the NE weren't the only ones in the cold wind this weekend, although Saturday was gorgeous for us.
