Dug my first large cent today

My Cornet Large Cent. I can't fully make out the date (I think it's 1828). Also got an 1888 Indian Head.

Congrats on your first largie! I remember how excited I got when I found my first one, but then they are rare as hens teeth in my region. I think yours may clean up nice in a hot peroxide soak.
