5 hour hunt in an old park that I thought would have been hammered by other detectorists. 57 coins in all - 6 quarters, 10 dimes, 6 nickels, 35 pennies / 3 were wheats (1944, 1956, 1957).

These are most of the coin targets I had today as marked with my CTX 3030. I'm a little bummed I didn't get any silver with all those targets. I'm going back tomorrow.

Looks like you had a good time. Is that a flat button I see in the pic? HH, Dave.

Nice hunt! No silver, but still much better than pull tabs. Lol

Yes, it was my deepest target of the day, about 10-12" I think.

Thanks, I love the GPS findpoint and waypoint feature. Yes, my hands are killing me. I didn't bring my shovel, just my Garrett digger. Tomorrow I'm bringing my mini shovel lol.

Remember, those trees were probably not there when silver was lost, the open spots are where people are losing money now, but there might be silver off the beaten paths, so to speak.

It's a very old park and many of those trees are really big. The target pic is just a small section of this park. I could search for 5 hours a day and still not cover it all in a month. I plan to pick different section each time and hopefully I'll find a spot that gives up some silver or large cents. I know some LCs and old silver came out of this park.

Thanks. Headed back today!
