1808 Admiral Gardner shipwreck coin

I thought I had found a game token at the beach in Florida on the Gulf Coast, but it turns out to be a coin from the shipwreck of the Admiral Gardner in 1809. There were a lot of them made, but this is my oldest find to date using an ACE 250.

That is the denomination, there are others marked XX CASH.

Found a good story about recovery of the wreck. Apparently a lot of the treasure remains lost. http://eicships.threedecks.org/ships/s815/salvage.htm

very neat coin but I read that the Admiral Gardner shipwreck sank in the Goodwin sands off the coast of England ?

Yes, it did sink in the English Channel, I believe, someone lost it where I found it
