Some of you may have seen my "encased" cent from last week. Well, this past Saturday I found a real one. It is an aluminum horseshoe good luck piece from the Monon Railroad. It's pretty toasted but I thought a cool find nonetheless. It sure gave a weird signal! All the rest of the finds from the house demo site below. Scored a nice Werrbach hutch bottle, an E L Husting ceramic stopper and some clock pieces. Any ideas on the what's it on the bottom pic?

Looks like a nice hunt Darren! And I'm sure that there's more to be found if one looked.
Congrats!
It's cool that the good luck piece has a date on it! And the wheatie is the same year!
I see ya got a couple of marbles!
And everone can use a extra 7/16" wrench!

Nice hunt. That mystery piece I think is a cable clamp, such as used on ground wires to a ground rod. There would be another half to it normally.

Nice find with that luck/cent token. I was a little surprised that the aluminum case and the coin had the same date. I was thinking more like someone affixing it like at a fair where you get whatever coin you happen to have, not like they ordered pennies from the mint to put in there.
