Alec and I met up with Dave this past Saturday for some farm house door Knocking. We put a lot of miles on the car and not to many on our coils. Lots of nos!
We finally got a yes at an 1850 house and thats where dug all my coins for the day. My first good target was a penny spill, a 1906 Indian and a 1929 wheat that was filed into a hexagon. My second good target was a barber dime spill, a 1901 & 1902. My last target was a another Indian, a 1906.
Alec Didn't hunt long due to allergies, but before he stopped he dug a spill as well, a 1919 Buffalo, a 1906 Indian and a 1920 Wheat. He finished off with a token.
Even though we had bad luck getting permissions, we all ended up with a few good coins.

I hope we get some massive rain storms so we can get back to those rural towns.
Thanks Dave for another good day of hunting!!

Where the Barbers in one hole, Don? That '06 IH has a wonderful color. It's tough to take all that rejection but you kept at it, congrats!

Nice looking Barbers, and those coppers sure came out clean! Persistence definitely paid off. Congrats on a good hunt!

Slim pickings in that yard but we got some good coins! I was surprised to get three silvers. Not old but I will take them! We'll get some good yards next time!

I have been in sales most of my working career and my thought process is always...."it only takes one". Great persistence guys and some great finds.
