Here are a few pics of my finds over the past 3 weeks or so. Been pretty dry here until last night so I hope to get out more now that the conditions are ripe for digging again. Did manage a wide variety of relics from tokens to musket ball to buckle to a sterling flag pin. One of the Indians is a nice old one 1865 but is toast.

Below is a cleaned up pic of the Civil War Token I found about 4 weeks ago at a home site that I need to get back to finish up. I could not make out really anything before but I soaked it in boiling peroxide and now I can see just about everything including the date of 1864 and the motto of "OUR ARMY" on the back. Very happy with the results.

That Civil War store token is a great find!!:congrats:

Very nice assortment of finds. That CW token is sweet! Lots of other very cool finds, well done! As for rain, I'll try to send some over your way, we have had way too much on this side of the lake! Bonus: I'll include a few tons of mosquitos. Bumper crop of them this year, it's unbearable here!

Great finds! Lots of cool fobs. The flag pin looks like a collegiate flag pin but the enamel has long fallen away. Any idea what school it might be for?

Some very good finds Bucknut , those Civil War era patriotic tokens usually clean up pretty well ! He congrats !!:notworthy:

Very nice finds Bucknut! A few keepers from each hunt and I'm always surprised how the goods start adding up after awhile. Love that CW token! Despite the history in my neck of the woods I've never found one.
