Hi all,
Got out for about a 6 hour hunt working both the beach and the water. The weather has not been conducive to a lot of beach going much less swimming this summer, so finds are few and far between. But as I was about to call it quits for the day in about a foot of water I got a nice 12-08 signal. Instead of the usual can top, I was pleasantly surprised to see a shiny ring. At that VDI I was hoping for white gold, but instead turned out to be stainless. Upon further research at home I found out it's a fancy Emporio Armani ladies ring with crystals. Only one site still had a listing for it at $110. Plenty happy with this one and great way to end the day!

That's a snazy ring!!! Nice find!!!
Maybe I just post this way but I love to see everything you find...not just the good stuff! Maybe others don't like to see everything...not a lot of comments in this forum so it's hard to tell!!!

Usually i do show everything, but this time i just didnt see a small pile of clad very interesting.
On a side note, I was trying a gold specific program for fresh drops in parks. I can see it working well since I scored a bunch of nickles, but the amount of foil and can slaw was almost overwhelming. So once again, nothing much to see or speak of.

Good plan...all the gold for me this year has been under a VDI of 18 on the White's detectors and down as low as 4. I hope you hit gold soon!!!

Never once saw gold from a park. Lifetime gold find count of 2, and both were within 1/8 mile from each other at the same lake. Hoping to start finding some gold soon, and start making some good park finds for once.

Gold seems soooo rare. I found a gold wedding band from the 1930s and a few small gold trinkets...and that's it....even though I dig every nickel signal at most of my sites. That is one good looking ring, Chris!

That's a sweet ring . It's kind of amazing the variety of metals that are being used these days in the making of high dollar rings .

You got that right, man. I guess, variation increases its value.
