Haven't got out in 2 weeks so made a day of it on Sunday. Thought I ended the day with 8 silver but I actually had 9. A whole bunch of Rosies and 2 Merc's. I also found a toasty Indian, 8 toasty wheats and about $4 in change. Wish I could get more hunts in as September has been great. The leaves are dropping but the silver is popping. Wow, pretty high silver count for one time. I know I lose track of the clad I dig at a park and get surprised when I empty the pocket.... but never with silver.

It is an unusual spot in that most of the silver (all) is in an area just smaller than half a football field. The signals are tough to pinpoint but anything below 4" is usually good. Lots of 60's memorials so I am guessing early 50's. When I first stopped there it looked like a newer Park but as I started to hunt I noticed old wood post remnants in the ground that indicated the fence was replaced. It is a 3 hour drive so I doubt I will hit it anymore this year but 3 hunts have produced 19 silver (18 dimes). I think it has been hunted as I have found no silver quarters. Look forward to hitting it early next year. Thx WD
