I use a heavy dug finds pouch that I purchased online. It is very similar to the old Jimmy Sierra bags. It has a zippered pouch which is large enough for a finds case, a heavy duty middle section that will hold all the iron I dig up, a cell phone pouch with a velcro cover, and a pinpointer sheath that I don't use. They sell two models of these bags, one with a belt and one without. I prefer the one without a belt because I use my old Army suspenders to hold the weight of all that iron I carry out.611116111261113

I honestly don't remember where I bought the bag. They are out there. You will just have to look around. I used one for about seven years before it dry rotted. I bought a new one last year. The one I show in the pic has a place for a water bottle so it's my old one. The new ones have replaced that with a sheath for the pinpointer.

When I use a pouch, I use a heavy belt pouch like Donny does. If the conditions are dry, I just use the pockets in my cargo pants. If I put too many things around my waist, I have a hard time keeping my pants from falling. Like many men, I was tragically struck with "N.A.S." (No Arse Syndrome), when I hit 50.
