Had the day off and went back to one of my favorite sites of all time.

This is the site where I've found about 6 NY Municipal Police Dept. buttons as well as the site I raked up last fall. Haven't been there since last fall & now am in my 3rd year hitting this site.

As usual found some more coins: 1873 IH, 1911 Wheatie & 1907 Barber. Also found 2 small 1pc buttons.

HH!

Congrats on the keepers! Wish I had a "go to" site like that. All mine are small overlooked nooks and crannies that dry up real fast. The only exception is the old zoo, but that's been hit hard by many for decades with only a few little pockets that were missed.

I'm still waiting for you to come and rake a few of my sites Rebel . Actually after the storm that blew through here last night, I'd rather have you rake my yard. I wonder if there are more of those NY Police buttons still at that site. Or maybe those 6 buttons is a coat's worth. You got some green and silver.

:congrats:

Way to go on more old silver! You'll always have that site as a fall-back for years to come.
