I had a few unexpected days off so I was able to spend this morning hunting the site I found the flying eagle cent the other day. I haven't nicked a coin in years and today I nailed two!! Luckily I got the SLQ on her shield  The nicked nickel is 1908, the SLQ is 1920, the commemorative button is 1901. Can anyone see what's on the back?
"????? NOV. CO. NEWARK NJ" Thanks!!:thumbsup01:
EDIT- It says Pryor NOVelty Co. on back.

Those are some nice finds. Haven't seen an SLQ in some time myself. The city I hunt seems to have this mentality that to preserve old parks it's best to remove the dirt and trees, then cover it in pavement like the 1947 park I recently went to. :shocked01:

Time well spent Drew :thumbsup01:
I really like the Yale button! That's a unique find! Way better than another stinking penny or shotgun brass.
Congrats!
Don't worry about the dings in the coins. It happens. You had a good run.
