After a long, cold, windy hunt with my good buddy Bucknut yesterday (he found some good stuff) , I stopped by my Uncle's house on my way home and dug this in his garden. This is the same area I dug the 1901 IHP a couple of days ago. I think it's really neat and it's in great condition.63450

That's a great find! I love finding those old dog tax tags.
This is the first one I've seen that gives the sex of the dog.
Congrats!
I wonder what the C.L.P. stands for?

That has to be the coolest Dog tag I have ever seen ! I'll bet there are collectors who would pay a pretty penny for that one ( I could never part with one like that ). Congrats on a very unique find .

Al (oldstuff ) Your comment was my first laugh of the day , thanks !

That is the best tag I've ever seen! Looks silver, but I know it can't be. Big congrats!!

Nice find, I enjoy the old tags mainly because they always have a date, cool find, I agree with OX it does have that silver look to it most likely plated.
