I have not been out much in the last 3 weeks but I did get a field permission at a site I wanted to take DiggerDon and company to last fall. It is a site that is on the 1876 map but not on the 1897 map. This "collection" is from 4 hunts that totaled about 6 hours. This place is loaded with so much iron I think I need to visit this place for the next couple years as the farmer discs it up again and again. Many of my finds were right on the surface.

My coins...
64126
64127
64128
64129
64134
My oldest was a Fatty Indian that I can't quite make out the date, 1865, 1880, 1883, 1891, 1896 and 1907. And a nice 1876 H Canadian LC baking in the sun.

My relics...
64130
64131
64133
64132

I ended up with 3 axe heads that were on the surface (I discriminate all iron) and my first Ox shoe. Also got 2 complete small crotal bells and a larger broken one. A few buttons 2 of which are glass and then a broken oyster shell button which I have found before but never that big. I took a pic of some of the dozens of bottle tops that were strewn around some look pretty old but I do not know just how old.

Thanks for looking! Jared

Really awesome hunts, can't believe you found so much in so few hours. That place really shows a lot of promise for the future.

Now that Digger Don has focused his attentions on Seated coins the rest of us Mortals may be able to dig a few more Indians. Congrats on the new spot and all the finds. WD
