We tried a new town yesterday. This town has lots of mid 1800s houses so we gave it a shot. We realized right away that the town has been pounded. We also realized that they had to miss a few, and they did!
The Barber quarter and one Indian came out of an 1850s house that has been detected at least twice.
Everything else came from one yard. Yep, they missed one!!!

Honestly, I don't know the difference! I kind thought they were the same thing.

The token is a CW political token.

More great finds Don - killing it again! Love the CW token - find of the day imo. Curious - you must be close to nabbing a complete set of IHs at this point correct? Maybe just a few of the scarcer 1860s/70s left I'd have to imagine.

Not that I have seen very many but that is a neat design on the Civil War store card token. Nice Obverse bust. Congrats on all the great finds. WD

Let it not go unnoticed that over the past couple of weeks you have found a Half Dollar Grand Slam! Seated, Barber, Walker, Franklin! That is unheard of! I would love to see a photo of all four together.

The prize of this hunt though is the Civil War Store Card! What an incredible piece of history and it is in great shape! I've never found one. Good job, Don!

Don, I've yet to find a CW token. That V is in good shape compared to the ones we find around here. Unbelievable that "towns" are pounded :shocked04:
