We knew it was going to be hot Saturday, but it was the most uncomfortable day of hunting I've had in a long time.
I was ready to give up after a couple of hours:whiteflag:and I probably should have. LOL All of my finds came before noon.
Tim (Noah) on the other hand was coping just fine with the heat and he killed it Saturday.
I ended up digging a 1905 Indian, a merc, a rosie, a washington and 19 wheats.

I also dug some kind of a hook on a swivel. Any idea what it might be and how old?
Thanks for looking

Still a good day. Glad you let Tim get some silvers! Im out in the heat now detecting. Low 90s today so I'm only hunting in the shade and taking it slow.

Well 19 wheaties is a lot of wheaties! Glad you could get a little silver before Noah scooped it all up. I've seen that hook before. It goes to a piecost. Best wishes and HH, Dave.

Very nice hunt, unreal amount of wheaties! Nice to see more silvers, and I see you got quite the selection of buckles and clips too. Well done!
