Found a local park that I never knew about, and when looking on google it's not marked with the Green patch or name of the park. After looking at Historic Aerials, I found out the park is only 30 years old and it use to be a field. So I spent 3 hours in an area closest to the fields and found a few things. Indian Head penny, which I believe is dated 1892, fired Musket ball, a big dandy button, and the other button I thought was a blow hole button, but after cleaning found no holes on the bottom. That wouldn't be considered a 2 piece would it??

Good finds but it's definitely a blow hole button. I can see the holes in your pic (3 o'clock and 9 o'clock). They're just filled in with oxidation. I'd hit that field a couple more times. Could be a seated dime hiding there somewhere! HH, Dave.

Nice! It may be a trashy park, but given the oldies you just pulled out it's probably worth another hunt or two.

Great finds! And I agree, you need to work that park hard. Gotta be more great stuff out there.

Nice research and results. Seems like an oldie field. Maybe some coppers there too.
